JAKARTA,  - Indonesia's inflation rate likely slowed to around 4.8% from a year earlier in July from 5.54% in June, Bank Indonesia Gov. Darmin Nasution said Monday.
Nasution said the country's consumer price index likely rose by between 0.8% and 0.9% in July, accelerating from 0.55% in June mainly because of higher rice prices.
He added that he still expects capital to continue to flow into the country after the U.S. debt agreement, albeit at a slower pace.
