Welcome Home Nazaruddin!

JAKARTA,  - The suspect of bribe funds for development projects 2011 SEA Games athletes guesthouse was driven to mobile brigade command headquarters in Kelapa Dua, on the outskirts of Jakarta, after the Gulfstream N-913PD charter plane flying him touched down the Halim Perdanakusuma air force base at 7.51 p.m. local time.
"Heading directly to the headquarters as he can be exhausted after taking 30-hour flight," said the police public information bureau chief Brig Gen I Ketut Untung Yoga Ana to reporters at the airforce base here Saturday.
Wearing brown leather jacket with his hands handcuffed, Nazaruddin did not give any word to reporters on the case bringing him back home. The former treasurer of ruling Democrat was heavily guarded by police officers before getting on the silver Kia Travello car with license plate number of B 1276 BH.
Nazaruddin was sheduled to have a medical check up at the headquarters before being probed at Eradication Corruption Commission office. Today is the end of his overseas trip after being a fugitive for three months and finally arrested in Cartagena, Colombia, Sunday night.
He was deported by the Colombian government after his political asylum proposal was denied. Nazaruddin was flown back home from Eldorado, Bogota, Thursday at 5 p.m. local time or Friday morning Western Indonesian Time.
